As part of its social responsibility Microbase organized a voluntary Blood Donation, for the second time in 2024, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in support of the corporate blood bank.
Employees, friends and partners offered their time, sharing their volunteering spirit for people in need.
- 17 blood bottles were collected, and the platelets, plasma, and red blood cells they contain, can benefit 51 people who suffer.
- 1 volunteer provided a sample of bone marrow.
The initiative took place in cooperation with the Hellenic Red Cross, in our offices at Argiroupolis.
An action that benefits everyone equally, it raises awareness and promotes Microbase’s key principle “Always putting Man at the core.”
We are deeply appreciative for the excellent cooperation of the Hellenic Red Cross and the President Dr. Antonios Avgerinos. We also thank the doctor, the Blood Donation Coordinator Mrs. Maria Kourkoulakou, and the blood takers.
We have established this initiative of Blood Donation twice a year, in October and March, as a voluntary social giving to help those in need.
